Permission & Charging Rules

• Basic matching functions for Toyota, BYD and mainstream models are free to use. 
• No mandatory activation fee and no annual fee. 
• A small number of high-end special model calculations require KD-Coins consumption. 
  
  
  

Official Fixed Limitations

• New Toyota models after 2020 require an additional 30Pin dedicated harness to fully use the functions. 
• Only supports basic MQB key adding, does not support MQB dashboard reading & writing, mileage correction and full-data all keys lost (KD-MINI PROG is required). 
• Do not use third-party OBD splitters, otherwise it will cause identification failure. 
• Stable vehicle voltage and the latest version of APP & firmware are required, otherwise matching failure may occur. 
  
  

  KEYDIY KD-MATE Details

  
  The KD Mate is a car key program device based on a Mobile KD app connection. With the included adapter cable in the package, the KD Mate can realize Toyota Smart Key programming without Pincode, and also add Toyota all lost keys without a simulator.
  
  The device is updated continuously with the Mobile KD app, it opens the communication channel between the KD device and the system vehicle, works with KD-X2 / KD-MAX and KD remotes, greatly saves key programming costs, and improves the key programming efficiency. There will be some functional updating which will solve some issues such as the complications some other programming devices encounter when trying to generate VW dealer keys with KD remotes, 48 Pincode fast calculation, and some other car key programming problems which locksmiths encounter.
