What is Steering Lock Emulator

It is designed to emulate a working steering lock. This device will fix your problem as long as you have a FAULTY ELV.

How to use this Magotan ELV Emulator?

1. Remove the main chip from the PCB of original ELV lock module, and solder the main chip to the emulator, pay attention to the welding direction


3. Install the emulator to original ELV module. After installing the elv to car, use a obd scanner to read the fault code first, then clear the fault code, and then start the car to see if the function is normal. 

4. If there is no response when testing, please try to replace the chip here in red circle with the chip from original elv.


4. After testing, install the emulator in the shell of original steering column lock. the elv faulty was repaired and you get a new working steering lock now.
