New MQB Cars SFD Online Activation Service
SFD authorization is required to unlock adaptation and codings such as new immo adapt and cp adapt for new MQB2020 platform cars.
A big secret I didn’t want you to know: you can unlock SFD protection and also can access ELSAPRO via ODIS after SFD account activated.

- VCI Diagnostic tester VAS5054A / 6154A…
Attention:
– Listing price is for SFD activation one brand one day only, GEKO account and ODIS software are not included.
– Buy in advance,login when you have the car ready to test. Activate it with our codes. Service time starts automatically while the first online connection test sucessed, and it will not stop countdown whether you use it or not.
– Total 20 times limited number of DSS login within 24 hours one day.
How ECUTOOL SFD Online Activation System Works?
*The SFD account has been intergrated to ECUTOOL GEKO system. The instruction is similar to the ECUTOOL GEKO login.
1. For new customers who use our system for the first time
- 01. Click here to download the file, double click the downloaded file to start setup (we can help you via team viewer remote support if you want) .
- 02. Contact us by email or WhatsApp and Skype after finishing installation, we will give you a certificate file and a reg code.
- 03. Go ODIS “Certificate”, import the file we provide.
- 04. Run the ECUTOOL system, use the REG code to activate SFD account by following steps below:

- — open the ECUTOOL geko login app
- — click the * button, you will see the recharge windows
- — choose your SFD brand
- — copy the full code and paste it as license
- — click submit
- — close and restart the geko login app 3 times. your SFD account will be enabled.
2. For return customers, only need to pay for the new license code to recharge.
After activated, you can access SFD Vehicle Diagnostic Protection yourself.
How to use ECUTOOL SFD Online System?
What is VW SFD Protection?
SFD (Schutz FahrzeugDiagnose= Vehicle Diagnostic Protection) is not like the historic 5 x digit security codes that locked control modules of old.
For new MQB2020 platform, VW have adopted a lock out system that requires a license to access the ECU. To get access to adaptations / coding and even output checks, ECU has to be unlocked by special Token.
Why must need VW SFD authorization?
No one will be able to perform online or offline coding / adaption / parametrization for control units without:
1) Full dealer access account with SFD authorization for ODIS online (Dealer Portal account + Geko account)
2) or SFD Token for the control unit in case of offline adjustments (coding, adaptions, parametrize) in ODIS self diagnosis or VCDS / VCP
For example, without an authorization token from VW, You can do a diagnostics scan but you can’t do software changes, coding/adaptations in the new Mk8/Tiguan and ongoing models.
